Overview
A brand identity concept for a modern, organic ice cream parlor. The direction leans into custom, hand-built typography with a playful wobble to it — letterforms that feel scooped and rounded rather than mechanically drawn — paired with a warm, sun-baked color story that reads as natural rather than artificially sweet.
Design Thinking
The starting point was the logotype itself: every letter was rebuilt from scratch with slightly irregular curves so the wordmark feels handmade, not templated. That same playful irregularity carries through to the supporting pattern work and packaging language, so the brand feels consistent whether it's on a cup sleeve or a shopfront sign.
What This Project Practices
What I Learned
Designing a wordmark with intentional imperfection is harder than it looks — every 'wobble' has to feel deliberate, not sloppy. This concept pushed me to be far more precise about where irregularity actually reads as craft.
